Low carb and low fat brownies for the win! I truly love brownies (all desserts really!)…and this recipe is my go-to for satisfy that brownie AND cookie dough craving! All the while taking care of my protein intake 😉
I’m using the new yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Bars too!! Quest Bars are simply amazing! These protein bars tastes like a candy bar to me! Plus they are all natural which makes me even happier!
One note about this recipe is that I used 2 different kinds of protein: Whey & Casein. The reason for this is because I prefer to bake with casein over whey, but I also like a blend of both. Casein is thicker and just seems to cook better than whey. Whey seems to sometimes make the product turn out too dry. So you are welcome to use one or the other (or both like me!), but your texture may turn out different. It’s not always easy to cook with protein powders, so don’t beat yourself up if the finished product doesn’t look like my pictures.
Again, if you are interested in purchasing the protein products I use, go to http://www.tryabouttime.com and use coupon code: cleanNdirtytreats to received 15% off plus FREE shipping! That includes the sample packs as well!
