I’m FlapJackin-it this morning with these amazing, moist and fluffy FlapJacked Cinnamon Apple Protein Pancake mix!!! Say Whaaat?? Come on Yvette, pancakes on a weekday?? YEP!! So yum and my whole family enjoyed them!! Layered them with vanilla protein icing and topped with a quick apple compote & sugar free syrup with sprinkle of cinnamon. Boom! Fast, easy and wholesome breakfast to fuel our bodies to kick bootie today.
For the pancakes:
1/3 cup water
-Just stir together and cook in a pan on low heat.
1/4 scoop vanilla casein + 1/4 scoop vanilla whey protein ( or you can use just one or the other).
1-2 tbsp water depending on the desired thickness of your icing.
2 drops of NuNaturals Vanilla Stevia drops.
-Stir together and layer between pancakes.
Quick Apple Compote:
1/2 apple peeled and chopped.
-Combine in a bowl with a splash of water and drizzle of sugar free syrup (I use Joseph’s Maple Syrup and it can be purchased through my link for Netrition.com to the right of my page)
-Microwave for about 1 min until soft.
-Assemble your pancakes, sprinkle a little cinnamon, and enjoy!!
Macros for pancakes (no toppings and protein icing): 180 cals, 2.5g fat, 21g net carbs, 9g sugar, 15g protein.
